Abstract:
Comprehensive studies were carried out on the Permian-Jurassic source rocks inAiweier Gou and Tao Yuanzi sections on the bordering areas of the Tu-Ha Basins.Furthermore,in combination of the sedimentary facies and tectonic evolution in the basins,the oil potential and prospects for the Permian source rocks in the area were approached inthe paper.

Abstract:
The physical and geochemical properties of viscous oil in the northwest margin ofJunggarBasin were studied in the paper.By correlating it with viscous oils home and abroad,it isfound that the viscous oil in this region is characterized by geochromatographic effects resulted from the long distance migration of hydrocarbons,Additionally,the alteration ofviscous oil would be divided into biodegradation,oxygenation,water washing and diffu-sion respectively.

Abstract:
The S.China Continental Block (i.e equivalent to the Yangtze together with the southern China Cakdonian Foldbelt) is an ancient continent in the Paleo-Tethyan Ocean,whose bordering areas had been intracontinental faultdowns during the early evolution arystage,which transformed into a devergent and passive continental margin (the oceanictrough of the S.Qinling belt along the N.margin should be attributed to an intracontinental aulocogen) in the late stage.At the sametime,the enlargement of the Xiang-Guisea basin by transgression reached the middle and lower Yangtze areas during early Hercynian period,followed by a more extensive transgression during the Permian-Triassic time due to the Yunnan movement initiated at the end of the Carboniferous,Therefore,thecontinental plate was surrounded by island chain system on the bordering areas while theepicontinental sea occurred within the plate dominated by the differentiation of the platform and the basin regime,in a pattern similar to that of the present South China Sea andthe Caribbean Sea basins.Since the two sea basins are rich in oil/gas resources,in turn,itis suggested that large oil/gas fields should be discovered in the S.China,especially in Permian-Triassic systems dominated by epicontinental sea basin environment.

Abstract:
In order to study the palaeo-tectonic setting of a basin,the location of the westboundary of the Linqing Depression during Late Jurassic-Early Cretaceous and its sedimentation are restored,on the basis of the data from seismic survey and drilling wells.Moreover,it is stiggested that the basin marginal facies in the belt of Weixixan-Huaiqiaois the favourable facies zone for hydrocarbon acccumulation.

Abstract:
In this paper,the comprehensive studies are carried out on the tectonic characters of the front margin along the middle section of the Longmenshan Overthrusting Belt based onthe analysis of dynamics,kinematics and geometric deformations on the overthrusting beltwith the example from the Yazi River Strticture in Peng County,west Sichuan.It is proposed that the tectonics of the front margin along the middle section of the LongmenshanOverthrusting Belt shotild be a superimposed duplex tectonic characterized by a buried overthrusting tectonic model,of which the major detachment is not outcropped.The transformation of the detachment into decoupling structure brought about the stress reliefzone of front delta-belt while the multiple superimposition and increasing thickness of theimbricated overthrusts should consist of a number of low angle overthrusts between theroof and footwall of the major detachment.

Abstract:
Based on the core data from 8 core hole,the water top (oil-water transitional belt)in the two oilfields is redivided.It is concluded that its thickness range reaches 36.6-68.6m more than that acquired by the data of electric loggings and oil testings.Therefore,it means the oil saturation being 30~40%,an increase in oil/gas reserves for the oilfields.The study also discusses about the cause for the larger thickness of this transitional belt,and the inadequacy and affects of the determination with the data of electric logging andpotential tests.

Abstract:
With the basis of petrological and mineralogical studies on the algal-dolomitic coressampled from the different depths of the upper 4th Member of the Shahejie Fr.(E2) and apart of the paleozoic system,it is suggested that the change of proto-dolomite into ideadolomie should occur along with the increasing temperatures throtigh the calcium excretion-and the adjustment of inner crystal lattices.By such an evolution,the inter-pores developed in dolomitic formations and consequently,the evolutionary models can be establishedfor the algal-dolomite diagenesis.

Taking the Permian bioherm section of the Longlin area,Kuangxi Province as anexample,the authors systematically sampled and analysed the different phyla of fossils.From lower to upper of the sectionm,12 assemb ages were clarified for Foraminifera andcalcareous algae by the characterization of their ecology.Consequently,a relation ship between the biocoenose and its sedimentary environments were preliminarily approached,with a view to qualitative and quantitative analyses,the microgeomorphic features for amarine facies were reconstructed.

The distributive regularity of porosity in subsurface sandstones is resulted from theintegrated geological process,such as deposition and diagenesis,The optimization of mathematic models is set up based on the varius mathematical models combined with thevariation of the porosity of sandstone beds in different depths since the drilling wells in the frontier basins are not sufficient.There fore,it is a new approach to predict the vatiation of reservoir pores in distribution with an example of north area in MT Basin.

Abstract:
Based on the decimetric wave of electric magnetic wave propagating in rocks,the authors measured the S parameters in rock samples on a HP875 3A automatic network analyzer and acquired the dielectric constants (εr) of the measured rock samples through the simultaneous equations of εr in order to provided a basis for distinguishing oil layers from water layers.

The experimental study has revealed that the clay composition and its content in rock samples,the number of the linkable minipore in cement and the difference of the surface properties of rock samples are the key factors of retro-mercurometric efficiency.In view of the development of oil/gas pools,the retro-mecurometric efficiency wouldtake rising trend along with the increasing depths of oil/gas pools and show good corresponding relations with the pores,permeabilities and water-sensitivities of rock samples.

Abstract:
Zedites could be generated throughout the process of diagenesis.The types of zeolites are mainly controlled by the varieties of source material and the properties of water medium,and the distributive type of ten shows perpendicularly zonal features.The appearanceof lateral zonality is also present in the modern deposits of saline alkali lakes,since thisclosely relates to the differences of source material and of the physical-chemical properties of water medium.The temperature does not work on the generation and distribution of zeolites,so that the author proposes that authigenic zeolites should not be considered as athermometer and must be stopped using due to its unreliability.
